Looking at the pic, a normal fork stand would take care of the front, the rear, well, i could see about bobbins or take and slide a rod through the frame/swingarm mount, if it is in fact hollow and rest it on jack stands. Also assume this thing is like full of them standard dimensioned bolts and stuff, huh. How the hell does a frame collapse, is it made out of sticks. What happens when he rides it? My understanding is that those cro-moly steel trellis frames are pretty damn tough, well, until they rust out that is. On a less funny note, I have a rear stand that converts from non-bobbin to bobbin. So far my XB's frame has not shelf-destructed, but it is I-talian made.:WTF: Here is a link to service manual how to, page 2-11.

Repoe3 As a former tube-framed Buell owner, who removed the wheels several times, methinks he mistaking taking the wheels off with removing the shock. As with any monoshock bike, removing the shock will make the bike 'collapse'. Taking the wheels off is no different than any other bike.IMO of course.YMMV. EDIT: The owner might also be referring the the 'pull' nature of the rear shock.

He might think that by jacking the bike up by the rear axle, the shock will be 'pulled' to full extension and send the swingarm up into the subframe. I used to have a lift that picked the bike up from the footpegs.Carlos/Sam have that lift now.
