ILN started supporting the aftermarket of military engines in 1996. Legacy engines had been out of production for a number of years and there was a lack of new spare parts to support them. In order to meet this demand, we acquired complete J79 engines and harvested the parts. We then had the parts overhauled in accordance with the J79 Depot Maintenance Manual, and began selling them to operators of F-4 and Kfir aircraft throughout the world.

Maintenance

We have acquired a total of over 100 engines and compressors in recent years. The last major purchase was in 2014 when another 17 complete engines were acquired. Several additional orders have already been received in the beginning of 2015. In 1999 we added the J52 to our Gas Turbine Engines Operations. We acquired a number of engines in order to support GE Engine Services.
